Mr. Grovar, an incredible asset in the field of Human Resources

Mr. Grovar is an MBA from the Management Development Institute, Gurgaon, and a Post Graduate in Personnel Management & Industrial Relations from Chandigarh. He is a Certified Assessor and a trained Predictive Index & Thomas Profiling (psychometric tests) Analyst. He has been on Korn Ferry’s panel of Assessors. He has been trained by Prof Wayne Brockbank of the Michigan Ross School of Management, USA.

Awarded

For his overall contribution, Mr. Grovar was awarded the Certificate of Appreciation, the group’s highest recognition of employee performance, by Group Chairman Mr. BK Goenka.

Cultural Integration

Mr. Grovar spearheaded the successful cultural integration of two acquisitions, one of them an Aditya Birla Group company, with the parent group. His HR, OD, and employee engagement initiatives are custom-built business environment (evolution-stage and need-based) solutions rather than one-size-fits-all quick fixes.

CBSE Schools

Mr. Grovar was looking after two CBSE affiliated schools having 2500+ students and over 120 teaching staff. He has helped bringing in quantifiable objectives to the area of CSR in the Group.

Women Empowerment Centers

In the CSR space, Mr. Grovar was responsible for running 8 Women Empowerment Centers in the Kutchh region comprising of 250+ women, working with over 60 Govt. schools with 42 para teachers to improve the quality of education with the help of smart classes, Adult Education Centers, Balwadis, Mobile Health Vans, Micro Finance and Rags to Rugs Center.

International Invites

Mr. Grovar was invited by the Eastern Institute of Technology, New Zealand, to speak at an international conference, ICBM, in Bangkok, on Cultural Integration. Besides, he has conducted workshops in USA, UK, Saudi Arabia, Ghana, Senegal & Sri Lanka.

CSR Projects

Mr. Grovar has been actively doing variety of CSR Projects, such as Micro Finance for deserving women in Malwani slums of Mumbai; Women Empowerment Centers in the Kutchh region of Gujarat; SHGs in Salav area of Maharashtra; Assisting Govt. schools in Gujarat for enhancing teaching standards; Water ATMs in Vapi, Gujarat. One such project of purifying drinking water was for the Mumbai Police families.

Skill Development Center

Mr. Grovar was responsible for setting up of a Skill Development Center under NSDC (National Skill Development Corporation, to train freshers as per Govt. guidelines and to claim monetary rewards for Welspun Group.

A member of the Gujarat government’s Committee on Technical Education, Mr. Grovar also headed CII – Western Region Committee on Waste Management.
